In January 2004 BGB Marketing launched a cooperative marketing website, OnlineApartmentGuide.com. The site will serve as an advertising medium to market the service of Apartment Locators across the U.S.

A cooperative marketing website allows multiple business in a related to industry to pool marketing dollars in order to more effectively market their business.

OnlineApartmentGuide.com allows apartment seekers to submit their search criteria of the apartment that fits their needs to a local professional apartment locator. In turn, the apartment locator will search their database of available apartments and send a list of the search results to the apartment seeker.

In most markets the apartment locator service is free to the apartment seeker. The locator is paid by the apartment community as a commission for referring a tenant.

BGB Marketing is compensated by the apartment locator based on a service level agreement. The service level agreement defines a minimum number of apartment seeker leads provided by BGB to the locator each month. Since the marketing is performance based, the locators are more effectively managing their advertising dollars.
